I have co-founded a content company with Satya and Ananth, called New Horizon Media Private Limited. We started this company inFebruary 2004.
We aim to create great quality content that can provide information, education and entertainment to all Indians. We intend to focus on regional languages.
When we talk of content, we are talking about
- printed books
- audio books
- animated CDROMs
- Content made available through the Internet
- Content through mobile phones and handheld devices and
- Content that can be broadcast through radio and television
We have started with a Tamil Imprint - kizhakku pathippakam (கிழக்கு பதிப்பகம்), and over the last two years have published well over 100 new titles. We are intending to expand to other languages and other media shortly.
We have so far published books in the following areas:

We intend to expand our offering into

Our experience so far has been heartening and we are arguably the fastest growing Tamil publisher and would easily rank as one of the best Tamil publishing brands.
My role in NHM is as Publisher and Managing Director. Over the last two years we have built an excellent team for கிழக்கு பதிப்பகம் and intend to replicate the same for our other divisions.
